Cow Stops Traffic
Jun. 29, 2006

On June 19, 2006, a rather unexpected visitor brought one of the busiest highways in El Paso, Texas, to a complete stop. Walking up and down the edges of the four-lane highway was a little calf. The calf had broken free from its enclosure at a nearby location and wandered its way right into the middle of this extremely busy highway.

Many drivers were enraged at the accident because of their meetings they were getting late for. The calf wasn’t moving out of the road side, so action had to be taken. The police were soon on the seen spent half an hour chasing the calf until they finally got it off of the road.
