North Korean leader Kim Jong Il reportedly has vowed to retaliate for any aggression against his country. An editiorial attributed to Kim broadcast on the Korean Central Broadcasting Agency on July 8 promised to answer an enemy's "retaliation with retaliation" and "all-out war with an all-out war." The statement came as Japan is pressing the U.N. Security Council for sanctions against North Korea in response to Pyongyang's multiple missile tests July 4.
