Archaeologists discover 3,000-year-old artifacts that may uncover clues about life in ancient Egypt

Deep in the Valley of the Kings, archaeologists have discovered a tomb that may hold secrets to Egypt's amazing past. Researchers had hoped to find a 3000-year-old mummy inside the tomb. Instead, they were shocked to find the tomb held ancient embalming materials and woven flowers.

"I prayed to find a mummy, but when I saw this, I said it's better — it's really beautiful," said Nadia Lokma, chief curator of the Egyptian Museum in Cairo.
