Italy beats France to win its fourth World Cup title

Italy beat France on Sunday to win the 2006 World Cup soccer final. After 90 minutes of regular time and 30 minutes of overtime, the score was still tied at 1-1. The match went to penalty kicks, where five players from each team take a shot at goal, in a mixture of basketball's free throws and ice hockey's face-offs.

It was truly an amazing game.
