Space shuttle Discovery successfully completes its mission and returns home!
After 13 days and 5 million miles, the space shuttle Discovery safely returned to Earth Monday. The smooth landing occurred at 9:14 a.m. at Florida's Kennedy Space Center.
"Welcome back, Discovery, and congratulations on a great mission," Mission Control told shuttle commander Steven Lindsey after Discovery rolled to a stop.
