Panda Baby Boom!

China welcomed five newborn giant panda cubs this week, including one hefty baby and two sets of twins. So far, a total of six pandas have been born in captivity this year.

On Monday, the heaviest panda cub born in the history of China's artificial breeding program was delivered at the Wolong Giant Panda Protection and Research Center. The center is located in the Sichuan Province of southwest China.
