Think girls learn faster than boys? You may be right, at least when it comes to young chimpanzees using tools.

Experts discovered that female chimps in Tanzania, East Africa (see map), use sticks to dig up tasty termites two years earlier than males. And it doesn''t take a genius to figure out why.
