Some elephants in India will be going to camp for a month. Government officials in India's southern state of Tamil Nadu recently created an "elephant camp" in a lush wildlife sanctuary to give the state's working elephants a vacation.
Thousands of elephants in India are owned by temples, and they work during religious ceremonies and festivals. Others work to clear forests for logging.
