Squid's Light to Inspire New Gadgets?

What would you do with a built-in flashlight? Stay up all night? Scare your friends? A recently discovered Hawaiian squid uses its built-in light to hide from predators. Scientists believe the light could inspire new miniature gadgets.
Hawaiian bobtail squids use their so-called flashlight to hide their shadows from fish that live on the ocean floor—fish that could eat the squids!
