Boy George wraps up community service

Boy George says it's time for a taste of the good life now that he's wrapped up his five-day stint sweeping streets in New York.

The former lead singer for Culture Club said he was going off to "have a glass of champagne" as he wrapped up his court-ordered community service yesterday.

A judge ordered Boy George to work for the sanitation department after he pleaded guilty, in March, to falsely reporting a burglary at his Manhattan apartment. Police officers who responded found cocaine inside.
