Alternative Jet Fuel

We spend most of our time driving around in cars to travel from place to place. However, millions of people travel by airplane every year. That is why scientists are looking into possible alternative sources for fuel made specifically for jets.
At the moment, jets such as a 747 passenger plane use a type of fuel very similar to kerosene. The fuel weighs more than gasoline used in cars, but not as much as diesel fuel. It is designed to withstand air travel environments, which is very cold temperatures.
One alternative is ‘biodiesel.'' Biodiesel is fuel made from soybeans and other vegetables such as corn. It migh help us with our problem so far bu who knows if it reliable enough?
