The World Loves Dogs
Paula Adhikari
Jul. 7, 2006

In your neighborhood does your neighbor or even you own a dog? Well studies have shown that more of the population own dogs than fish and birds combined. The order is basically, dogs, then cats, then birds, then fish, then others. Why do you think that so many people own dogs? They are man’s best friends, right? That is what they are called and it must be for a reason. Having a dog can have many benefits. If you are disabled, then they can help you around. You can train them to do just about anything. They can play with you when you’re bored, or keep you company when you are sad. Having a dog as a pet is a wise decision and the studies seem to be right.
