Earth Hydrated Now, But Before?
When the Earth was formed a long time ago, there weren’t any continents. There were little pieces of land that just floated there and got crushed by oncoming asteroids. Experts from National Geographic say that the Earth clashed against another planet and got heated to form its hot core. They also believe that the planet didn’t have water in the beginning. The asteroids that were ramming into it contained massive amounts of water.
In some peoples’ opinion, the theory is not very likely. If asteroids with water were clashing with Earth, why not other planets? It couldn’t be possible that all of the asteroids containing fluids just hit one planet.
This opens a possibility that either other planets have a hidden water supply, or our planet didn’t get its water supply from asteroids.
There could be a million ways that the Earth could have gotten the supply, but not all of them are scientifically correct. It could be a huge coincidence…chances are that millions of asteroids hit though.
Who knows, it could have happened. You know what everyone thinks: anything’s possible in space.
