Former President Bill Clinton announces a program that will set nutrition and physical standards in schools.
Being healthy is very important. If you are eating a lot now, then you will regret it later in your life when you have a good chance of becoming fat and obese. If you end up like that you could also develop diseases like diabetes, or cancer. You would really regret it then!
If you just do a little exercise every day you would probably not end up with these problems. It wouldn’t be that much work either. Just a simple jog is all is needed.
More than 200 schools in 12 states have already been chosen for the program. During its first year, the program will focus on schools where students are most at risk for obesity.
