A Forty Year Old Ten Year Old
Have you ever thought that you could end up being a forty-year-old ten year old? Well, it’s possible.
Do you know anyone who was born on a leap year? It happens every four years. There must be someone… Of all those people born on a leap year do you know anyone who was born on February 29?
If you think about it, you could be talking to one of these people randomly throughout your life. They might look forty, but they would really be about ten years old! This is true because a leap year comes around every four years, so you would divide whatever age the person is by four.
A few weeks ago I was listening to a story about one of my friends, it was about a trip she had taken. She said that she had been traveling in the Grand Canyon. She had mentioned that her tour guide was about six years old. Of coarse this would surprise anyone. Then after she was done she explained that her tour guide was born on a leap year and would be turning eight in two years.
It was interesting because the girl was actually about 24 years old and my friend had said that she was six. It can get anyone glued to a conversation.
