Obesity Becomes a Serious Threat To All of Our Society

Tests show that over ¾ of our American population is obese. Many of these people are also morbidly obese. This means that they are over 100 lbs overweight. What will this do to our population? The answer is not a pleasant one.

Is someone you know obese? Chances are that someone that you have contact with everyday is obese. The leading causes of obesity are the fast food chains all around the country. All though you would love to stop off at a local McDonalds and get a bite to eat, the truth is that you would probably gain a pound for every meal that you consume there.

The threats of obesity are starting to take a toll on several American’s lives. Many people die each year just because of their bodies having to take on the exes fat. Once their hearts give up, there is just no turning back.

The one question left to answer is: how do all of us work together to stop the growing problem of obesity? There are several ways to stop obesity in our country, but they may not all be easy. If you know someone that is really packing on the pounds, you should encourage them to stop eating as much and to go on a diet. Also, you should encourage them to exercise. Another way is to inform everyone about the dangers of overeating and how badly it can harm you.
