Heavy Books Pose Threat To Kids
Paula Adhiakri
Jun. 18, 2007

Studies say that you shouldn’t wait until the last day of school to bring home all of your books. Why is this dangerous? The answer lies in the physical strain of having to carry all of your books back on one giant load. It could eventually damage your spine. The best thing to do is spread out the load over a long period of time. This will help your back by not straining in to carry all of those heavy books around.

Now that is the end of the year, things are starting to wind down, so you won’t need all of your original books for every single class. Because this might be one of your last weeks, it is best to start taking home all of your unneeded notebooks, and binders.
