Snow days and Rain days Really Add Up

Because some schools had a few more snow days or simple bad weather days, they will have a longer school year. Even though it may only be a couple of days longer, you would still have to sit there and listen to all of your friends talking about how fun the summer is.

However, the school year ending a little later might be better. When you miss a day of school in the middle of the year, you are missing a school day filled with work and testing. When you have to make it up on the last day of school, you are making up a day of fun and excitement. You get to lounge in all of your classes. There is no homework, as there would have been if you had gone to school on the day that you missed.
