Allergy Season Coming to an End
Paula Adhikari
Jun. 26, 2007
After these long, annoying months, allergy season is finally ending. Studies show that many people are allergic to materials such as pollen or ragweed. They are the most common because some substances in pollen and other materials are not tolerable by the human body.
In the spring you probably end up with allergy symptoms because the dandelions start coming out and are later joined by other weeds that have pollen. Before the trees can re-grow their leaves, they must first sprout buds. The buds have great amounts of pollen in them, which get spread into the air whenever the wind blows. The wind then spreads all of the pollen all around, even all around you.
Now, the trees have stopped budding and the dandelions are sprouting seldom. This means that you can stop taking your allergy medication and be happy wandering outdoors without all of the sneezing and watery eyes.
