Over the summer, you probably just want to have fun. Why do you have to do those annoying summer reading assignments anyway?

Although you may not like to read over the summer, it will help you in many ways. For one thing, it helps to build your vocabulary. Once you go back to school in September, you won’t be lost in a sea of confusing words coming out of your teacher’s mouth. BY reading over the summer, you won’t feel like your brain turned to mush over the summer either.

What is wrong with picking up a book once in a while? It will only help you.
