Nicole Richie’s Trial Moved Back
Billy Brent
Jul. 19, 2007

Nicole’s key defense witness hasn’t yet arrived, so she has been granted a later trial. The trial is now scheduled for the middle of August.

Reports say that her key witness is going to testify that, based on tests, Nicole was intoxicated after she was spotted driving the wrong way down a freeway. If she is convicted of driving under the influence, she could end up going to jail for up to a year. This would be severely damaging to the celeb’s career.
