Eating Healthy Will Improve Grades

Studies show that if you chow down on a candy bar during study hours, it won’t be likely that you remember all of the material that you had gone over.

The healthy choice to make is to snack on fruits, vegetables, and your basic carbohydrates. This is because your brain is the only organ in your body that lives on glucose, or sugar.

Now, we all know that candy has plenty of sugar, but eating candy will give you a burst of sugar and then nothing. Your brain needs carbs for a good sugar balance. This way you will remember a lot more for that big test coming up and not have to sit there and think about what you read the night before.

Some foods containing carbs are whole grains, fruits, and veggies, and produce.
